As branch manager for one of the Southwest's premier licensed HVAC maintenance, service and retrofit contracting firms, Rod and his team of professionals provide customers statewide with tailored, energy-efficient, single-source solutions that meet a wide range of facilities and business requirements. In addition to setting the company's strategic direction and performance objectives, he establishes key policies, plans resource allocations and oversees adherence to the highest standards of quality and integrity. His goal is always to ensure that customers of all types and sizes get the powerful, reliable systems and services they need to effectively address today's complex and demanding facilities challenges.

 

Expertise

Rod began his career more than 30 years ago with a family-owned business in Phoenix Climate Control. Several years later, he joined Phoenix's Natkin Group to assist in establishing a new office. A string of promotions elevated him to the service manager position, in which he was responsible for 22 technicians in the Phoenix and Tucson areas. In 1990, he joined Metro Mechanical, where he was operations manager for eight years. During that time, he helped the company grow its service and industrial service groups to 33 technicians. He also expanded the plumbing service group to nine.

 

While at Metro, he began instructing apprentices and journeymen at United Association (UA) Local 469 Plumbers and Pipefitters. He received his UA teaching certificate from Michigan State University in 1995. Today, he continues to share his expertise with others in the classroom.

 

The Personal Side

Rod's special interests include spending time with his family, as well as camping, fishing and hunting.
